we invite you to a practical course focused on the application of MR-compatible focused ultrasound for opening of the blood brain barrier and its quantification by MR perfusion imaging; it will provide the participants with general knowledge from this field.

 Theoretical part - 2 hours

• introduction to focused ultrasound,
• MR perfusion imaging and processing in PerfLab;

Practical part - 5 hours

• animal set-up,
• preparation of contrast agents and MRI pulse sequences,
• acquisition of MRI data, data processing
