EuBI events SUMMER 2021

Here are some great opportunities from around the Euro-BioImaging community that we wanted to share with you:

  • Training courses:

August 18th-20th, 2021: Turku PET Centre is organising a three-day intensive course "Principles And Applications of Neuroimaging Data Analysis”, which will be held in Turku in August 18th - 20th 2021. It will give excellent hands-on expertise for working with common neuroimaging modalities (PET and structural and functional MRI). The course is open to anyone interested in neuroimaging and will be free of charge. We have a wonderful list of speakers and will also stream the lectures on Zoom. Please see details and information for registering at

July 2: EOSC-Life - Hosting Hybrid Events:
As part of its Remote training series, EOSC-Life is organising a one-day workshop on Hosting hybrid events. The objectives of this knowledge exchange and interactive workshop is that, in the future, participants will be able to evaluate which kind of events or sessions can be organised hybrid, what resources would be needed and what would be the benefits of choosing a hybrid format over a face-to-face or a remote one.
The workshop is free of cost and will take place on the 2nd of July 2021. You can check the draft programme on the website .
Registration is open by completing this form. You can contact WP9 (Daniel, dthlopez@ebi.ac.uk) for any questions.

Community survey

The NFDI4BIOIMAGE initiative will apply to the 3rd Call for NFDI consortia in September 2021. Their central aim to serve the research community with respect to its research data management (RDM) needs in bioimaging, including microscopy, biophotonics and bioimage informatics. Please participate in the anonymous survey to help them assess the current situation of RDM in bioimaging.
